Massage is defined as the systematic manual ( use of hands ), and / or mechanical (use of machines or apparatus), manipulation of a part of the body by rubbing, kneading, pressing, rolling, slapping, and tapping, for the therapeutic purposes such as promoting circulation of the blood, relaxation of the muscles, restoration of metabolic balance, and other benefits both physical and mental.
